Peter Bond & Associates was established by Mr Peter Bond.

Peter Bond qualified as an Engineer in 1969 and holds an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering. He has been a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) since 1974, Reg. No 740216. A member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE) and a registered Engineer with the National Home Building Registration Council (NHBRC).

From 1969 to 2005 he was involved with the design and construction of numerous successfully completed projects in South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and the UK.

In 2005, Peter Bond decided to formalise the professional side of his activities and formed Peter Bond & Associates, focused on engineering. 

Peter Bond and Associates provides professional expertise in Engineering. Expert designs for residential, commercial, civil structural engineering, spatial, water and sanitation management are developed by a diverse, knowledgeable and experienced team. Building on the shared vision to provided cost effective and professional service to clients, fellow professionals and contractors engaged in the civil and structural industries.

Peter Bond - CEO / Director
Peter Bond obtained a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Civil Engineering in 1969 and has been a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa since 1974. At present he is in good standing with the Council. He is a member of the Institute of South African Civil Engineers and a member of the South African Institute of Structural Engineers. He has been actively involved with the design, supervision and construction of civil and structural engineering projects for over 52 years. At present his consulting practice is involved in both the civil and structural sides of the industry in a proportion of approximately 30% civil work to 70% structural issues. During the period he was engaged in contracting he successfully worked on the upgrade of the Coal Line to Richards Bay, upgrade of the oil pipeline between Durban and Johannesburg and the 400 km large diameter water pipe line from Francistown to Gaborone in Botswana. He undertakes the design and supervision of concrete, masonry, steel and timber structures for various clients throughout the country and provides numerous structural reports on behalf of clients, of various structures. He also provides outline scheme reports for water, sewer and storm water for submission to various municipalities for rezoning and subdivision purposes including the certifying of Flood Lines of the 1:50 and 1:100 yearly interval as defined in Section 144 of the National Water Act (Act 36 of 1998). He also consults, on an ad hoc basis, to the City of Johannesburg where an expert opinion is required on the structural stability of a building prior to the City becoming involved in litigation with owners of properties who may have contravened the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act (103 of 1977). Over the last 19 years he has been the engineer on over 6500 projects: new developments (domestic and commercial), alterations, structural investigations, sewer and water line extensions, flood line...

Graeme Parker - Senior Engineer
Graeme Parker obtained a B Sc in Civil Engineering in 1980 from Surrey University (UK) Having done an industrial year in SA with SRK as part of his degree he moved to SA on graduating and has extensive experience as a contractor working for major contractors in SA building sewage works, reservoirs and bridges. Forming his own construction company in 1987 he worked for 10 years in the domestic market with housing developments and in industrial and commercial buildings, being a preferred contractor for SA Breweries and Sanlam. He joined Dyechem Industrial in 1997 as construction manager, the principle project being the purchase, design and construction of their manufacturing facility in Chloorkop. Having completed this project he was invited to become the MD of Dyechem in 2008. In 2014 he decided to return to his first love of the construction industry and was employed by Peter Bond and Associates as a design engineer. He registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA in 2014 and has recently received his full registration as a Pr Eng. Included in his list of recently completed projects are:- ? Relocation of Lion Park to new premises in NW. ? Numerous houses and alterations. ? Scaffold design for ACSA at OR Tambo Airport and Sasol HQ. ?
